Pirate Hunting By the Tuis and Kiwis.

On Thursday we dressed up like dirty pirates and drove in cars to Mapua.
Room 7, 6 and 5 lined up to get on the ferry. When we hopped on the ferry we spotted Captain Blunderbus and went crazy.
When all of us got to the island, we set off for the treasure. Then we looked for clues. Captain Blunderbus said go East, and we found a wheel.
We walked through the forest and found a skull.
Next we went through the forest walking along going towards east. We crept a few steps and then again and again! Just then we found some of Captain Blunderbus's pieces of gold on the ground and we also found a canon ball. Then we found some games and a chest.
Inside the chest were drinks and biscuits. We played some games then we went on. We walked along the dusty forest road to find the treasure. That took very long and was very hard and tiring, so we got very thirsty and hungry.
Next Captain Blunderbus gave us the next clue with a code. It was a bit hard but we got it.
Soon then we went west to find the cannon behind the tree. Then we followed the clues down the track, and we got to the point were the  treasure was. We found a clue that said, go west.
We found an x and Tane dug it up. Captain Blunderbus  threw a key but the key was too big. So he threw another key and Hamish caught the key.
The key opened the treasure chest and inside it there were crunchies and chocolate coins! Everybody dug in.
After that Mrs Duncan blew the whistle and we all walked back to the ferry and climbed aboard.
It was a fun, fantastic, adventurous, scally

wag pirate assignment!!!!
