Riding by Ameera

 

In the holidays Mum and I went to Rabbit Island beach to practise for Buller show. My pony's name  is Molly and her show name is Dunelem Stardust.

I went to Buller show and I won the Rider Class. Molly had to walk and trot when I told her. I got Reserve champion and I went in the Grand Parade.

Gardening By Riley and Ian

Ian and Riley are starting the Room 7 garden. It's beside Room 5. It already has some flowers, and they planted some daffodil bulbs around the edge. Ameera helped them out this week. It was really hot! We also went to the boiler room to have a look at the gardening tools. Ian's favourite was the shovel. We are going to plant some vegetables that we can eat later!

Taynes Kitten

On Friday my kitten got put in a cage to come to my house because we brought it from the pet shop by the mall. He is so cute. He is a tabby, he is 4 months old, he is so fun to play with! He climbs the x mas tree. He's so cuddly, he

sleeps on me.

On Friday Brightwater School had great big PET DAY! 

I brought a calf called Soc,  Mrs Duncan brought AJ and Toby.

 Mrs Duncan showed Rm 7 Toby's tricks and what AJ is learning.

In the flower show I came 1st and 2nd place.

At the end of the day all the pets went round the arena and every one did great.

Pets Day By Chloe

On Friday it was Brightwater Schools PETS DAY. I brought my pet sheep.
  Her name is Rosie. I did a trick with her, she jumped over a seat. Rosie did it with no lead.
She went in a dog race. She was winning at first but it took us a long time to get her though the hoop. Rosie came second.
I LOVE PETS DAY! 

Rarotonga- Jazmine

  
Last term I went to Rarotonga with my cousins and family.It was a long flight. We got there at about midnight. We waited for a long time until our passports got checked and bags. Soon we got onto our bus our hotel was called the Rarotongan Beach resort and spa. At the hotel there was table layed out with pineapple juice. We got checked in and went into the room 105. Then we got into bed.In the morning we got out of bed and had breakfast. We went into a special room and had toast,fruit,and,cereal.Our cousins had breakfast early and they went to the market at 6:00. We went to our room and put our togs on. Then we went into the cold pool. Brrrrrr! It's freezing. We tried the beach that was much warmer. We saw no fish. Soon we had lunch pizza. Yummmmmmm!

Tayne's flood

On Thursday I went to Puponga with Nick and Lorraine, Caleb and Mason too. When we got there we went white baiting and got 20 white bait. We stayed for 3 days. On the 2nd day it rained night and day it flooded. We saw a camper van in the river. We went to the Tractor Museum we saw a fake horse and cart. Then we went back to Puponga. The bach is warm.
