Maruia By Ollie

In the holidays we went to Maruia to see our cousins. It took us a long time to pack our clothes. I helped Dad put the motorbikes on the trailer. It takes about two hours to get there. It is not much fun driving there but only when we get lollies. We got to go to a dirt track with our motorbike. There was mud about the size of my motorbike. All you could hear was BROM! BROM! BROM! because there were motorbikes everywhere. You could not hear one clear sound. Then Mum went back home to go get the big kids. Trent my big brother, my cousin and me went up the hill. Half way up my chain on my motorbike came off but by the time Trent got there he had gone to the school pool so he got a spanner and came back up. I had to push it most of the way. It was not that much fun. I milked the cows at 5 o'clock in the morning. I had to go to get the milk because Dad did not be bothered but in a while I loved it. Every morning I did go to see the milk tanker and on EASTER DAY I went to to give him an EASTER EGG. It was my birthday

Australian Holiday By Jarrad

In the holidays I went to Australia. We went to Featherdale Zoo. We saw bats, owls, hawks, snakes, sheep, crocodiles and kangaroos. T hen we went to the Aquatic Center. There was a hydroslide, a lazy river that was over my head. There was a bucket that got filled up with water and it tipped on you. It got filled up by a sea horse. There was a little pool that you could jump in. You couldn't jump in any of the others . Then we went to the Olmpic Center. We couldn't get in because they must of had something on so then we waited. We finally got in. There were shops. We saw rugby teddys, rugby tee shirts, rugby hats and socks. And then we went to the wedding. The wedding went from 6 o clock till 1 o clock in the morning. The plane that we went in had tv. We had to go in a container on the way to Australia. We were in seat 28. On the way back we were in seat 45 and 46. We didn't take off in till midnight. It was very late when the wedding finished. We had Mum's brothers car. It was a subaru. We went to Paramata. We went to the big mall and went shopping. On Wednesday I went on a huge ship called the Spirit of New Zealand. It has got lots of things like sails and things to climb up. The sea at the time was calm but we were making waves come off us. The engine room was very loud with all the things working. My Grandad was part of the crew.

Red and Black day was a success- Jessica.

On Friday we dressed up in red and black to raise money for Christchurch. I was dressed in my Crusaders top and skinny jean which are black.We raised $497.90.

In the weekend I went to athletics. Dad it's so hot. Can we go home? Dad replied, no you have to do your shot put! Aaaaaahhhhhhh! I nearly fell over! After athletics we went to my Grandad's and had tea there.

My puppy
On Saturday I got a new puppy. I got it from Frank. Its name is Stumpy because Girl is Mum of five pups. Stumpy got his name cause he got his tail bitten off. He came out backwards and no one was there to help so Girl tried to pull him out herself and she nipped off the end of Stumpy's tail. Stumpy is growing well.

Matthew's Robots.

On 14th.2.2011 I brought 2 robots to school. 1 is human and 1 is animal. They can do all sorts of things like walking and talking. I got one of them for Xmas and one from Trade Me. I like the way they can talk back to you and they can do lots of funny things.
